Our Programmes
At Smart Start Kids, we provide hands-on experiences designed to spark curiosity and creativity. We offer a mix of structured term-based courses and periodic workshops to ensure every project is engaging and high-quality.
Mini Professors
Ages 3–4 & Ages 4–8
Mini Professors is a specialist science programme that brings the "magic" of the lab to life. Each session explores a new scientific topic through storytelling, interactive demonstrations, and two hands-on experiments.
-
Structure: These classes run in 5-week or 10-week blocks for those who wish to follow a full term. For added flexibility, single lessons can also be booked individually.
-
Preschoolers (3–4): This is a gentle introduction to science and the world around us. We focus on nurturing natural wonder and curiosity through simple, engaging experiments.
-
Early Years (4–8): These more advanced experiments encourage children to ask "why?" and "how?" as they explore the world around them through practical scientific discovery.
Curious Creators Club
Ages 5–10
The Curious Creators Club (Tinkering Club) is for the makers and the builders. These sessions focus on "low-tech" engineering and creative problem-solving using real tools and varied materials.
-
Structure: Tinkering Club typically meets twice a month, giving children the time and space to dive deep into complex design challenges like marble runs or bridge building.
Sensory Play
Ages 1.5–8
While we do not currently offer a regular weekly programme for sensory play, it remains a core part of the Smart Start Kids experience. You can find our themed sensory stations in the following formats:
-
Birthday Parties: Private, themed celebrations available on Saturdays.
-
Holiday Camps: Integrated as a creative exploration during our full-day programmes.
-
Pop-Up Sessions: Occasional one-off messy play events held throughout the year.
