Making science exciting, accessible and hands-on from an early age
Children are naturally curious. They ask questions, notice how things work and want to find out what happens when they try something themselves.
Our Mini Professors science workshops give children the opportunity to explore that curiosity through hands-on experiments, investigation and discovery. Rather than simply learning about science, children get to experience it for themselves.
Science activities can help children develop important skills such as asking questions, making predictions, observing, comparing and problem-solving, while encouraging curiosity and confidence in exploring the world around them.
A programme for ages 3–8
Our programme is designed for children from 3 to 8 years old, with activities adapted to their age and developmental level.
The workshops support important curriculum goals and help children develop their understanding of the world around them, while building skills in observation, investigation, scientific thinking and problem-solving.
Activities are practical and engaging, giving children plenty of opportunities to see, touch, test, explore and ask questions.
Flexible programmes for your setting
You can choose what works best for your school, daycare or BSO.
Book a single workshop for a one-off science experience, or choose a series of workshops to give children the opportunity to explore a wider range of scientific topics over time.
Our standard programme consists of 6 lessons, but this can be adjusted to suit your needs, timetable and group.

Each workshop is designed to be hands-on, age-appropriate and engaging, with children actively involved in the learning rather than simply watching a demonstration.
