Welcome to Mini Professors Den Haag

Curiosity Lives Here!

Hands-on science adventures for children aged 3 to 8.

Does your child constantly ask "why?" or "how does that work?" At Mini Professors Den Haag, we absolutely love those questions! Our classes are a place where "don't touch" becomes "let's explore." We turn natural wonder into real discovery through play, experiments, and a whole lot of fun.

Our goal is simple: to help your child feel confident, stay curious, and fall in love with learning, all while wearing a tiny lab coat.

Join the Fun!

We’ve designed our sessions to match exactly how kids learn at different ages.

Tuesdays: Preschoolers (Ages 3–4)

This is a special time for you and your preschooler to explore side by side. It is the perfect introduction to the wonders of the world in an age-appropriate way.

  • Learning Together: You will team up with your child to try experiments and discover how things work.
  • A New Theme Every Week: From the magic of magnets to the secrets of volcanoes, we explore a different part of our world in every single lesson.
  • Preschool Science: We focus on building your child's confidence and encouraging their natural curiosity as they learn to observe and ask big questions about the world around them.
  • Storytime & Videos: We bring each theme to life with a lovely story and a short, fun video.

Saturdays: Young Scientists (Ages 4 to 8)

Time: 11:00 – 11:45 | Language: Bilingual (Dutch/English)

Why Choose Mini Professors?

We know you want the best for your curious child.

Here are the three main reasons families love our science sessions:

Confidence to Ask "Why?"

Science isn't just about facts; it is about having the courage to ask questions. We create a safe, supportive space where every child feels confident to speak up, share their ideas, and discover that their curiosity is a superpower.

Learning by Doing

Kids learn best when they can use their hands. In our classes, we move away from passive listening and get straight into the action. By doing the experiments themselves, children understand the world around them in a way that sticks.

Skills for Life and School

We help children develop a positive relationship with learning that stays with them in school and beyond. By practicing observation and critical thinking in a fun way, they build the confidence to tackle new challenges and stay curious.

Quick Questions (FAQ)

What happens during a Mini Professors class?

Each session includes a fun science theme, hands-on experiments, and interactive activities designed for young children. Kids learn by doing: mixing, building, observing, and asking questions like real scientists.

What if we miss a class?

We’re not able to offer refunds for missed classes. However, if you let us know at least 24 hours in advance, we’re happy to issue a credit for a future class.

Credits are valid for 6 months, so you’ll have plenty of time to join another session.

Do I stay with my child?

For the Tuesday (Ages 3–4) group, yes! It’s a team effort. For the Saturday (Ages 4–8) group, you’re welcome to stay, but many of our older scientists are happy to explore independently while you wait nearby.

What if we don't speak English?

Our Saturday classes are fully bilingual (Dutch and English), so children can comfortably participate in either language.

The Tuesday class (ages 3–4) is currently offered in English, as we use English storybooks, songs, and short videos during the session. Don’t worry if your child isn’t fluent—our activities are very visual and hands-on, and young children usually follow along quickly!

What will my child learn?

Children develop curiosity, confidence, and early STEM skills through fun experiments and discovery. We focus on asking questions, observing, predicting, and exploring the world like real scientists.

Can siblings join the same class?

If siblings fall within the age range of the class, they’re welcome to join! We also offer a sibling discount (GROWTOGETHER2026).

How do I sign up?

You can book a single session to see if you like it, or grab a 5 or 10-class pass to save a bit of money. BOOK HERE.

Ready to start the adventure?

Our classes are kept to a friendly, small group size to make sure every "Mini Professor" feels welcome and gets the most out of every experiment. Whether you are joining us for the first time or coming back for more discovery, we cannot wait to see you in the lab!
